Hello and welcome to the Checks and Florals Coasters and Placemats Crochet Pattern listing.

This pattern is for very pretty and striking checks and florals coasters and placemats. They will be the perfect addition to your Spring and Summer table settings for dinner with loved ones or afternoon tea with your besties! Switch up the colour combination and they would be great for any time of year. They could even match your colour scheme. They are quick to make so great as a gift for family and friends or to add to your craft fayre stock.

The pattern is made up of a 13 page pdf digital document that includes step by step instructions and lots of helpful photography to assist with making both sizes of the crochet coasters and the crochet placemat. A how to video tutorial is available to assist with crocheting the border of the pattern, on my YouTube channel. The skill level for this pattern is Intermediate and it is available in English, in both UK and US terminology. The skills that are needed for this pattern are:

• Tapestry/Intarsia crochet techniques (video tutorial coming soon)
• crocheting in rows and in the round
• UK double crochet/US single crochet
• UK treble crochet/US double crochet
• slip stitch

This project uses DK/ 3 Light weight yarn. The yarn used in the pattern is Drops Design Muskat DK (100% Cotton, 50g/100m)

The crochet hook for this project is:
UK 3.5mm/US E/4 hook

The finished dimensions are:
Large Coaster 12.5cm x 12.5cm (5in x 5in) and 15.5cm x 15.5cm (6.1in x 6.1in) including floral detailing.
Small Coaster 9.5cm x 9.5cm (3.7in x 3.7in) and 12.5cm x 12.5cm (5in x 5in) including floral detailing.
Placemat 28.5cm x 28.5cm (11.2in x 11.2in) and 31.5cm x 31.5cm (12.4in x 12.4in) including floral detailing.
