This was an experiment with colors from my yarn stash—a very successful one, I’m happy to say.

Next time ‘round, I’ll be looking for a more authentically Rockwood bulky oatmeal tweed that will give me 13 sts x 18 rows/10 cm (4”).

Holding the strand of Lamb’s Pride + Briggs&Little together made for a very thick fabric. I’m sure this’ll suit Glasgow winters, but I want to find a softer equivalent. 3 strands of Cigno Nero Punto (DK-weight) was soft and nice.
