Spring is here! After making bunnies, I couldn’t resist the chick making temptation! These little chicks make great trivets, doilies, washcloths, or coasters. I think they’d make great gifts, or even a lovely private hoard If you make a pile of them! The small ones would even make a nice garland I imagine, with sock yarn and size 1 needles. I hope they fill you with as much delight as they fill me with. : )

There are two sizes.

You’ll receive pdfs for both “Cheerful Chicks” and “Mini Cheerful Chicks” (and they also will get bigger or smaller depending on the yarn weight and needle size you use).
Bunnies not included on this link.

I used worsted weight cotton yarn.

For the yellow one, I used a size 3 needle and the regular pattern. (It measures 9 x 8”)

For the two little chicks I used the mini pattern and a size 3 needle. (They measure 6 x 5”)
