This pattern is written to make a sleeveless t-shirt, with the option of attaching either a fringed skirt or a straight skirt that is typical of most cheerleading outfits. Any heavy worsted weight yarn will work, I just prefer using Caron Simply Soft, I have also used Bernat Baby, Red Heart Super Saver, and other types of heavy worsted weight yarn without any difficulty.

Pattern is very easy to read, with lots of pictures and instructions as well as directions of how to complete every stitch required (if you don’t already know them). Perfect for beginners!
