This cheeky rat thief was inspired by the Skaven sack rat in the video game ‘Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide’, who is notorious for stealing loot and running away with it.

The pattern includes instructions for the optional accessories: drawstring sack, clothing and cheese.

The finished rat measures approx. 10cm tall, 4cm across, and the tail can be made poseable.

Supplies

1. 3.5mm hook
2. Yarn needle
3. Fiberfill Stuffing
4. 0.8mm wire (I used brass wire)
5. Felt (black + white) or 6mm safety eyes (black)
6. Small amounts (50g or less) of DK Yarn in the following colours:

For the Rat
• Light pink
• Light grey or light brown
• White

For the Outfit
• Cream
• Light brown
• Dark brown

For the Cheese
• Light yellow
• Dark yellow

For the Sack
• Dark brown
• Cream
