The pattern PDF includes two documents. One is the pattern which features instructions as well as the color charts for the cowl pictured here (Plucky Knitter Kit No. 01). The second document contains color charts ONLY for each Plucky Knitter kit featured in the Fall update. These color charts correspond the cowl graphics seen on the website update and are for the convenience of the knitter.

Bold and colorful with retro vibes, Chelsea features two different stranded color work patterns that frame a splash of textured stitches! It’s a single loop cowl knitted in a tube and seamed at the end using a three needle bind off.
The horizontal orientation showcases the color work patterns that are designed to “pop”. Four contrasting colors in a DK weight are needed and your favorite Plucky Knitter DK base is recommended for this warm and cozy accessory.
Chelsea is a small town located south of Birmingham, AL…..and another Chelsea can be found in Washtenaw County, MI.

General Notes:

• This cowl is knitted in a tube that is grafted or seamed when finished to form a circle. It has been written with a provisional cast on and finished with a three needle bind off to seam the two ends together.
• Optionally, you can use a provisional cast on at the beginning and graft with a traditional Kitchener stitch which creates a seamless finish.
• You may also choose to use a long tail cast on, bind off knit wise and sew the ends to form a tube.
