Chemical Attraction Tee
A simple style, this tee is knit top-down and combines several techniques, including two-stranded colorwork and intarsia in the round (even a small section of intarsia within intarsia in the round!), as well as some duplicate stitching for added fun and flair.
Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7)
Finished measurements: 33.5 (37, 41, 44.5) (48, 51.5, 55)” / 85 (94, 104, 113) (122, 131, 140) cm
Suggest 0-4”/0-10 cm positive ease
Sample: Sample is shown in size 2 (37”/94 cm) on 33” bust with 4”/10 cm positive ease.
Yarn: Mohair, Sport, and DK weights (all estimates are based on test knitters’ results, plus an approx. 10% overage)
Purls & Postulates Wilson Mohair: 300 (320, 350, 430) (460, 505, 540) yds / 270 (295, 320, 390) (420, 460, 495) m
Purls & Postulates Jackson Sport: 300 (320, 340, 360) (380, 460, 500) yds / 270 (295, 310, 330) (350, 420, 460) m
Purls & Postulates Harris DK: 415 (470, 560, 600) (690, 790, 850) yds / 380 (430, 510, 550) (630, 720, 780) m
Note, mohair and sport will be held together throughout the respective sections as the contrast color, while the DK will be held single strand and act as the background/main color. The mohair will also be used for duplicate stitching over the DK for the “bubbles” under the right side.
Suggested Needles:

Use the needle size needed to achieve gauge.

PLEASE NOTE, Size 7 has NOT been tested! If you knit a Size 7, please consider emailing me with feedback at purls.and.postulates@gmail.com. I would love to use feedback from this larger size so that I can grade the pattern up for Sizes 8 and 9. :)
