Crossroads: a shawl with an elongated triangular shape, where roads and stitches cross!

In this pattern, I wanted to play with some more unusual patterns of crossed stitches.

Crossroads is an elongated triangular shawl worked top-down.

Yarn: 1 ball of Scheepjes Whirl, 1000 m/225 g. The shawl in the photos was made in the colourway 554 Tangerine Tambourine.

You can substitute another fingering weight yarn, making sure that you have at least 1000 m of yarn available to you.

Hook: 3 mm, or the size needed to get gauge.

Gauge: The triangle obtained by working rows 1 to 6 should measure approx. 13 cm (5.25”) wide and 6 cm (2.5”) deep without blocking.

Chemins croisés : un châle triangulaire de forme allongée où les chemins, et les mailles, se croisent !

Chemins croisés est un châle triangulaire allongé, qui se crochète du haut vers le bas.

Fil : 1 pelote de Whirl, 1000 m/225 g. Le châle photographié a été réalisé avec le coloris 554 Tangerine Tambourine.
Vous pouvez aussi utiliser un autre fil de grosseur comparable, en prévoyant au minimum 1000 mètres.

Crochet : 3 mm, ou la taille nécessaire pour obtenir l’échantillon indiqué.

Échantillon : le triangle obtenu après avoir crocheté les rangs 1 à 6 mesure environ 13 cm de large et 6 cm de haut, sans blocage.
