Crochet this super EASY and soft chenille colour block blanket! Ideal for beginners or more advanced crocheters, using just ONE stitch for both the blanket and the border, it couldn’t be easier!
Using the Half Double Crochet V-Stitch means the blanket works up incredible quickly - you can use ANY YARN for this pattern.
For my blanket, I used Ice Yarn Baby Chenille.
When you buy 1 pack of this yarn, it consists of 4 balls in total.
I used roughly 2 out of the 4 balls PER COLOUR in each pack (I used 3 balls of the Cream) - I used a little more of the cream as that included the border. If substituting this yarn, please pay close attention to the yardage on your chosen yarn. My entire blanket used approximately between 1,800 - 2,000 yards of aran weight chenille yarn.
The colours I used are:
1 Pack of each the following colours: Fuchsia (54231) Salmon (58602) Yellow (54149) Green (55750) Blue (54534) Orchid (58883) and Cream (54139)
6mm Hook
My finished blanket measures approximately 42 inches (106cm) wide by approximately 57 inches (144 cm) in length - including the border.
