Scarf pattern:

cast on 12 st (or multiples of 3) on size 10-12 needles (depending on desired thickness)

Row 1: (k3, p3) to end
Row 2: (p3, k3) to end
Row 3: (k3, p3) to end

repeat until the desired length. bind off and add fringe.
