Chérie Blossom Pullover
My pricing is based on fair compensation for the small designer that I am. However, I recognize that this is not affordable for everyone. Support me by using the coupon code ISUPPORTU for a 50% off code if you can’t afford a full-priced pattern. I support you.
Casual yet cute, comfortable yet classy. Who says one should exclude the other? This knit is an oversized pullover worked from the top-down and is perfect all year-round. Lace sleeves, a gorgeous collar and a big frontal opening all come together to create this piece. This pattern is written for intermediate knitters and is perfect for knitters who want to try their hand at lace knitting!
This pattern has it all – from written instructions to charts, to video tutorials… Tips and advice are pointed out throughout the pattern to help you through. The goal is for your knitting experience to be pleasant and the pattern is written in such a way for that goal to be achieved!
What makes this pattern unique?
• It has a top-down construction, with 4-stitch raglans.
• It has a long collar.
• And a big frontal opening, almost like a v-neck.
• The ribbing used for the collar, the frontal opening, the cuffs and body ribbing is atypical… have you ever heard of the Cartridge Belt Rib Stitch?
• The sleeves are in a lace pattern as well.
• The body has slits on both sides of the body.
This pattern was designed for bust sizes 60 cm (23.5 in) to 160 cm (63 in).
What will you need?
• I recommend using one strand of merino wool (100g/400m or 100g/437yd) and one strand of Suri Silk (50g/300m or 50g/328yd). Of course, you may use whatever you’d like, as long as it meets gauge, which is 19 sts x 28 rows for 10cm x 10cm (4in x 4 in) of stockinette in the round and blocked.
• Measuring tape.
• 4mm (US 6) circular needles with an 80 cm (32 in) cord (or longer if you wish to try it on and your bust size is larger than this), as well as two other cables or scrap yarn to hold the sleeves.
• 10 stitch markers.
• A darning needle.
• Cable needle.
• Optional : Clasps and/or buttons, along with a sewing needle and thread.
