This pattern is 5 pages long and contains both a chart and written instructions, so either can be used depending on your preference. It is written using American crochet terms.

You will need to be familiar with changing colours and carrying the yarn that you are not currently using, behind your stitches (although the pattern contains links to YouTube clips which demonstrate these techniques).

My finished bag measures 18cm wide by 13cm tall, but the size will vary according to the materials used and your stitch tension. I do not line the finished bag with fabric although this could be done if desired.

The pattern contains the details of the yarn that I used, but it can be made using materials of your choice! Simply make your bag using your choice of materials first, then when you know what size it turns out to be, you can source the correct sized zip.
