Sizes:
S/M (6-10 US). Measurements in flat: hips 36 in / 92 cm, chest 32 in / 82 cm, length 24 in / 61 cm. Stretches out when wearing to fit chest 35.5-37.4” / 90-95 cm.
L/XL (14-18 US). Measurements in flat: hips 43 in / 110 cm, chest 39.5 in / 100 cm, length 25.6 in / 65 cm. Stretches out when wearing to fit chest 40.5-45” / 103-114 cm.
HINT: If you need larger size, try to use 2 mm hook or a bit thicker yarn.

Yarn: Jaipur Peace Silk BC GARN, color #55; 3 for size S/M (4 for size L/XL) skeins (5.3 oz (150 g) / 984 yd (900 m) for size S/M and 7 oz (200 g) / 1312 yd (1200 m) for size L/XL) of 100% silk lace weight yarn.

On an Eri silk worm farm in the Northeast of Thailand, the raw material for this wonderful silk yarn is harvested in a totally cruelty-free way: the cocoons of the Eri silkworm, which is a different breed than the mulberry silk worm. It lives for example on Maniok plants and spins a different kind of cocoon. The worm “eats his way out of the cocoon” and flies away before the cocoon is harvested by hand and then cooked to gain the precious thread. In the case of mulberry silk, the cocoons are cooked with the silk worms inside in order to obtain an endless thread.

Eri silk has a subtle shimmer but is not as shiny as mulberry silk. It has a „dryer“ look and feel, more resembling a bourette silk.
Always wash in cold water. To preserve the shiny surface of the silk, top must be washed by hand, use a neutral shampoo and finish with a rinse of water added a little vinegar. Wash with similar colors. No spin, dry flat.

Hook: 1.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge.
You need a stitch markers and scissors too.
