Cherry Blossom Shawl
Inspired by the famous cherry blossoms of the northern island of Hokkaido and the artwork of Hokusai and Hiroshige, this beaded knit shawl combines multiple threads of cashmere, silk and stainless steel from Habu Textiles, entwining delicacy with strength. Seed beads worked into the edging catch the light like the surface of a koi pond, elegantly fortifying the openwork lace.
