Hello happy crocheter!

Thank you for ordering the pattern of the Cherry Blossom; a nice, happy stole, which I designed with a lot of joy.
More than 6 years ago I started to crochet Happy Shawls like this, which you recognize by their own particular round shape, happy colours and a versatility of decorations. Each time it feels like a little celebration to start a new shawl while knowing that other crocheters become as happy as me, which makes the enjoyment in crocheting them even better.

Probably, during the process of crocheting the shawl, you will notice that your own ideas and fantasies get in a flow and something different and beautiful takes shape of which you will be proud off! That is exactly , which you probably know, my way of ‘Freestyle’ crochet.
When happens to you, crochet in your own Freestyle way. When something in the pattern is not clear to you, give it your own vision and it becomes yours, with yóur signature underneath it…

When you finished the base of the shawl, the borders, the leaves and the flowers, you can start the ‘painting’. Lay down the shawl on a flat surface and decorate it with all the flowers and leaves like the example on the picture or use your own imagination. Maybe it is an idea to stick the decoration carefully with little tape and sew all the elements with needle and yarn on the shawl. In the end you will have yóur own beautiful result!
