• 50g/1 3⁄4oz balls of Debbie Bliss Rialto DK:
· 2 balls in Ecru 02 (A)
· 1 ball in Scarlet 12 (B)
· Oddments in Apple 09 (C)
• Pair of 4mm (US 6) knitting needles
• 49 x 39cm/19¼ x 15¼in piece of cotton fabric for
cushion back
• Sewing thread
• 46cm x 36cm/18in x 14¼in cushion pad (see NOTE)

TENSION
22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm/4in square over patt
using 4mm (US 6) needles.

NOTE
If you cannot find the correct size cushion pad, make
one by cutting two 49 x 39cm/19¼ x 15¼in pieces of
white cotton fabric, then with right sides together and
taking a 1.5cm/⅝in seam allowance, join the two pieces
together, leaving a short gap in one side. Turn through
to the right side and fill with polyester filling or polyester
beads, then join the gap in the seam.
