Chervil Shawl
Delicate fans dance along the fabric of this lightweight shawl. Pure alpaca yarn gives a bit of halo for interest and warmth while keeping the piece lightweight and portable. The shawl, worked from the tip up to the wide edge, features a delicate picot edging that is worked at the end.

Finished Size 58” wide and 28” deep, blocked.
Yarn Cascade Yarns Alpaca Lace (100% baby alpaca; 437 yd 400 m/ 1¾ oz 50 g): #1409 Caribbean heather, 3 hanks.
Hook Size F/5 (3.75mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Yarn needle.
Gauge 21 sc and 7 rows = 2”.

Edging foundation is built into the body of shawl beginning at Row 5 and worked in alternating rows to end of shawl. Edging is worked in indicated stitches of edging foundation rows.
