Cheryl's Basic Socks
Cheryl’s Basic Socks are nothing new or ground breaking, but instead, this is my default method for knitting socks.
I use the magic loop to work these socks 2-at-a-time from the top down, or cuff to toe. This is my adaptation with the tweaks that I use to make a sock that I like, that fits me well and stays put when I am exercising.
I knit a short cuff, because that is what I prefer to wear. I use a heel flap and gusset because, of the methods that I have tried, this fits me best. This is how I make socks for myself and for my family.
