Chesil Scarf
by Linda Regel
Chesil Beach is an 18mile long pebble beach in Dorset. For much of it’s length, it is separated from the mainland by the Fleet Lagoon, a calm shallow area of water.
This scarf is inspired by the waves lapping on the Chesil Beach, and the contrast between the pebbly beach and the still Lagoon.
You will also need:
One pair 4.5mm needles
2 stitch holders
3 x 50g balls of UK Alpaca Superfine DK yarn – 70% Alpaca and 30% Blue Faced Leicester.
This yarn gives the scarf a lovely soft feel around your neck and a good mixture of drape and stitch definition.
You can buy the yarn from my shop at www.madebyewe.co.uk
