Chesnok
Chesnok is a lightweight roomy beanie with a little slouch worked in herringbone stitch pattern that would be perfect for showcasing semi-variegated yarns. The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Brim circumference 16 (17 ¼, 18 ½, 19 ¾, 21, 22 ¼) in / 40.5 (44, 47, 50, 53, 56.5) cm.
YARN 1 skein of Dazzle HT Sock, The Natural Dye Studio (100% Wool, 400 yds / 366 m / 100g) #Blackmoor Gate.
Substitute with approximately 150 (165, 175, 185, 200, 210) yds / 140 (150, 160, 170, 180, 190) m of 4-ply / Fingering weight yarn with the following knitting gauge.
GAUGE 26 sts = 4 in / 10 cm in Garter stitch worked in the rnd using 3mm (US3) needles.
27 sts and 36 rnds = 4 in / 10 cm in Stitch pattern knit in the round using 3.5mm (US4) needles.
Adjust needle size if necessary to get the correct gauge.
