Crochet pattern of Chess Baby Blanket in Overlay Mosaic Technique

Create a beautiful children’s crochet blanket with this overlay mosaic technique pattern.

The pattern in ENG ( US terms)

This pattern includes instructions for four different sizes:
90cm х 90cm (35 ½ inch by 35 ½ inch)
90cm х 120 cm (35 ½ inch by 47 ¼ inch)
110cm х 150 cm ( 43 ¼ inch by 59 inch)
120cm х 180 cm ( 47 ¼ inch by 70 ¾ inch)
You can make it any size by changing number of rows and stitches in a row.

Hook 4mm-4.5mm
- Yarn 100% cotton 200-250 m/100 g (100-125 m/50 g) two contrast colors: white and brown.

For blanket 90cm х 90cm (35 ½ inch by 35 ½ inch) – 400 gm/14.1 Oz each color
For blanket 90cm х 120 cm (35 ½ inch by 47 ¼ inch) – 550gm/19.4 Oz each color
For blanket 110cm х 150 cm (43 ¼ inch by 59 inch) – 750gm/26.7 Oz each color
For blanket 120cm х 180 cm (47 ¼ inch by 70 ¾ inch) –1000gm/35.3 Oz each color

Schachenmayr Catania 100% cotton 125 m/50 g, 136 yard/1.7 Oz Yarn weight: 2 sport
Scheepjes Catona 100% cotton 125 m/50 g, 136 yard/1.7 Oz Yarn weight: 2 sport
Alize Bahar 100% cotton 260 m/100 g, 284 yard/3.5Oz Yarn weight: Sport / Fine
