Cheuron Socks
Toe-up DK socks. Another quick, textured knit, that looks way more complicated than it is.
Line by line, written instructions and accompanying charts. Clear enough for a new sock knitter to feel confident tackling.
As this pattern is mirrored, there are instructions for sock 1 and sock 2 - you decide which foot to put them on. (tip, sock 1 looks better on the right foot).
Written for three different sizes. Be sure you are following the right instructions for your sock
As with my Escape Socks pattern, there is yet again much to love here … toe-up construction, seamless gusset, no wrap and turn malarkey, gorgeous heel turn, slip-stitch heel flap, no picking up stitches, beautiful textured pattern using twisted stitches and it’s written for DK so knits up quick …. so, so quick …. I’m not a ‘sock knitter’ so having a quick knit appealed to me.
I can’t wait to see your happy feet so please do be sure to start a project page or tag me on Instagram (@beanieboat).
In fact, why not follow me (@beanieboat) on Instagram and Facebook for updates on future patterns, test-knits and giveaways from my little shop.
SKILLS NEEDED
Knit and Purl Twisted stitches … super easy instructions.
Youtube tutorials for Judys Magic Cast On and Russian Bind Off are linked in the pattern.
MATERIALS NEEDED
DK, 100g (224m/244yds) for small and medium. If knitting the large size you will need approx 120g so you could maybe do a contrast toe, heel and rib (at 9g per sock).
3mm dpns or circulars using magic loop.
Tapestry needle (for sewing those dreaded ends in).
Removable stitch marker (optional to attach to front of toe to remind you
which is needle 1).
One more thing …
If you like the look of this pattern it would be a huge help to me if you would give it a like. Your support of my little dream is so appreciated. Every ‘like’ helps and it’s a known fact I do a tiny happy dance each time I get a notification. I am a terrible dancer!
