Do you love chevrons and color? Then grab a palette that makes your heart SING, grab your needles and stitch markers, and get knitting!
The Chev-Fade shawl uses seven colors in a fade configuration (dark to light OR light to dark) and pairs them with simple short rows, increases and decreases, I cord selvedge edges, and a bit of eyelet mesh at the end to make this stunning shawl!
Size: 60 in/ 152 cm along the top edge; 24 in/ 61 cm along the widest point of the shawl. Shawl size may vary, depending on individual knitter’s gauge, yarns used, and blocking preferences.
Recommended yarn: Seven colors of fingering weight yarn in a D to L or L to D configuration.

The Plucky Knitter Snug Fingering (70% Merino/20% Cashmere/10% Alpaca; 385 yd/352 m) in the color ways: Black Watch (C1); Nessie (C2); Highlander (C3); Stuart (C4); Tartan (C5); Hamish (C6); and Glen (C7)

- C1: 130 yd/120 m
- C2: 100 yd/90 m
- C3: 100 yd/90 m
- C4: 130 yd/120 m
- C5: 160 yd/146 m
- C6: 100 yd/90 m
- C7: 400 yd/365 m
Needles: One set of 32 inches (80 cm) or greater US size 5/3.75 mm circular needles.
Gauge: 5.5 - 6 sts to the inch in garter stitch on a US size 5/3.75 m needle
Notions: Stitch Markers, scissors, tapestry needle.
Techniques in this pattern: I-Cord Tab Cast On, SLPYO short row, color changes, stripes, Centered Double Decreases (CDD), M1R/L, YO, garter stitch, simple eyelet mesh.
