Who doesn’t love a chevron pattern? This happy little zigzag holds your interest, but becomes rhythmic in the knitting. This pattern is appealing to both men and women and the largest size accommodates feet up to 11” when worn. If you are making these for another person, measure the foot circumference, length from toe to ankle, and length from toe to end of heel.

Chevrolicious is a unisex sock pattern written in three sizes. Finished circumference is 6.75 7.75, 8.75 inches for each size. The smallest size can accommodate women’s feet in a narrow width. The medium size is appropriate for women’s medium width sizes, and the large will work for most men’s medium width sizes.

The chevron pattern is pretty easy to memorize, but just in case I’ve provided a chart and written pattern for each size. While the width is set by the pattern, you can make the length completely customized to the wearer’s foot. Helpful measurements include knowing the length from the toe to front of ankle and from the toe to heel. I have sneakily made socks for friends by looking at handy charts like this that at least give total foot length.

The sample sock was knit in the medium size for a size 9 woman’s foot and used 367 yards of yarn.
