This pattern works equally well in wool, cotton, bamboo or man-made DK yarn, to suit any season. The band is worked in one piece, with a single seam at the back and the pattern is both written and charted in six clear sections.

The Chevron and Bobble Lace Headband pattern is suitable for knitters with some experience. If you like your knitting with a little challenge thrown in, this would be ideal. While the stitches themselves are standard (knit and purl, make one right and left, yrn and yf increases, ssk, ssp, k2tog and p2tog decreases), almost every row of the headband is slightly different due to the shaping.

Size:
The minimum circumference is 48cm (19.5ins) and this can be made larger but not smaller.
The width is approximately 5cm (2ins) at the cast on edge and 11.5cm (4½ins) at the widest point, depending on the yarn used.
