Chevron Basket
The design of the basket allows it to be used both as a storage basket and a purse.
The bag/basket is worked in spiral (continuous rounds) from bottom up using single crochet stitch, without joining rounds. Constructed as one piece, the base smoothly flows into the body. Then starting from indicated round begins the chevron pattern worked using tapestry crochet along with increases and decreases.
Pattern includes written instructions in English (US terms) and charts.
Multiplicity of color options for this storage bin will make this it an interesting addition for any interior style. Use it to organize your yarn stash on the shelves or your kids toys. Perfect to decorate newborn’s room. Because of its sturdiness It will also look great in the bathroom, for example as a towel or cosmetics holder.
The second use of the basket can be a handbag. Color possibilities will make this bucket purse an interesting addition to different summer outfits. Whether in bold colors or in neutral shades, it will surely be an interesting supplement to summer travels.
