I love making hats, especially striped hats. I love to put colors together and find ways to use up leftover yarn. The chevron trend strikes me as a fun interpretation of stripes. I did a quick search on Ravelry for a chevron striped hat pattern that used one color at a time. I was looking for something simple. No charts. No stranded knitting. Something I could knit while watching my kids or chatting at knit night. I was shocked when I couldn’t find one. That is how the Chevron Chapeau was born. This hat is perfect for both genders and all ages. I hope it becomes your “go to hat pattern”!
