Knitted from the bottom-up, the construction of this coat is simple. What gives it its bedazzling quality is the variety of color and lack of discernible repeats in the color. Originally designed as a stash buster, it can be completed with any yarn in any color combination.

You will need:

Worsted-weight yarn. The sweater in the picture was made Cascade Friday Harbor. It took 16 skeins (16 colors), and about 1150 g (40 oz) of yarn / 2700 yards.

Size 8, 32-inch circular needles (two pairs)

6 - 11 buttons (1.5 inch)

For a full-length sweater you will need approximately 16 skeins

For a hip-length sweater you will need approximately 10 skeins
