This cowl is worked in sections due to the number of working yarn balls / bobbins needed at one time. The sections are then stitched together and the bottoms of the sections are kitchener stitched to the tops to create a seamless no-wrong-side cowl.
The cowl uses less than 125 yards of the neutral colour, and 40 yards of each of the 4 colours. Any number of colours can be used in any order, as long as the yardage for them is about 160 yards altogether.
It is recommended that you use bobbins to contain your neutral colour while knitting to minimize the different colours getting tangled. At least 3 bobbins is recommended.
