Chevron Dancer top is a sleeveless top knitted in DK or 8ply yarn, using 3.75 and 4.5mm circular needles.
Knitted bottom up in the round commencing with a lace band of repeated chevrons (hence the name), it then continues in stockinette stitch with some decrease shaping for a slight A-line. The body also has two channels running up the front, as well as the back for continuity of pattern with bonus slimming effect.
It is sleeveless, though I may add 3/4 sleeves next autumn :)
Chevron Dancer Top is finished off with a variation of the lace pattern for the neck band.
It fits 42 - 46” bust, pictured on a 44” bust dress makers model. If blocked it could fit a larger size.
It would not be difficult to size up or down by adding or subtracting lace sections at the beginning and small modifications further up (not shown in pattern).
This top took approximately 550 metres (guess by weight left), but using BWM Calypso yarn, it is purchased by 200g balls. I used only one full ball and perhaps half the second one.
