Brenda Castiel’s colorful design makes use of increases and decreases and variegated yarn to form beautiful chevron stripes—a multicolored hat with minimal effort! The occasional purl row provides additional texture.
MATERIALS
1 1 3/4oz/50g skein (each approx 110yd/100m) of Noro/KFI Silk Garden (silk/mohair/lambswool) in #258 lime/pink/red/purple/orange/rust/aqua YARN WT = 4
One size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 16”/40cm long, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
One set (5) size 7 (4.5mm) double-pointed needles (dpns)
Stitch markers
GAUGE
17 sts and 24 rnds = 4”/10cm over chevron pat using size 7 (4.5mm) needle.
