This is a crochet pattern for a chevron stitch headband. Ideally made with cotton yarn and a perfect summer make. Ideal as gifts, for craft fairs, or just for yourself! It’s great fun choosing the colour combinations, too!

This pattern is written in US terms and is for an adult sized headband. Size adjustments given at the end of the pattern.

Suitable for beginners if you are able to do the following stitches and techniques:

Chain
Double crochet
Double crochet decrease
Single crochet
Single crochet decrease

This is a NO SEW pattern so there are no ends to be darned in!

Requirements:

Double Knitting/Light worsted weight #3 cotton yarn (I used ‘Ricorumi’ by Rico)

3.5mm/E size hook
