Chevron Temperature Blanket
This pattern is to create a lap-blanket sized temperature blanket. It is an easy pattern that any beginner crocheter can do. The design of this temperature blanket was to have lots of color variation without looking too busy.
A strip is completed for each month. Then a border is attached to the strip and it is sewn on to the blanket.
This pattern is beginner friendly. The only skills necessary to complete this pattern are:
- Chain
- Single crochet
- Back loop single crochet
- Color changes
- Your chosen method for attaching the strips. I used the mattress stitch.
Three days worth of the repeats should yield a 3 3/4” by 3 3/4” gauge block. A detailed discussion of gauge is listed in the pattern.
Dimensions of the final product is approximately 42” by 48”.
You will need approximately 1400g of Truboo to complete this blanket. Other 3 weight yarns may be substituted.
