Chevron tutu dress
Skill level: Advanced beginner to intermediate
Skill levels explained:
BEGINNER: Projects for first-time crocheters using basic stitches. Minimal shaping.
EASY: Projects using yarn with basic stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, simple color changes, and simple shaping and finishing.
INTERMEDIATE: Projects using a variety of techniques, such as basic lace patterns or color patterns, mid-level shaping and finishing.
EXPERIENCED: Projects with intricate stitch patterns, techniques and dimension, such as
non-repeating patterns, multi-color techniques, fine threads, small hooks, detailed shaping and refined finishing.
Materials needed: Soft worsted weight yarn, I used Caron Simply Soft, tulle, satin ribbon for the sash, two 1/2 to 5/8” buttons for adjustable straps, and 1 bling button which is optional.
This is a DIY project. Make every little girl’s fantasy come true with this elegant and classy crochet tutu bodice and tulle skirt. You crochet the bodice, then add tulle for the skirt. Perfect for dance recitals, weddings, or photography shoots. This pattern does NOT include the flower pattern shown on the first photo.
Pattern written specifically for 3-6 and 12-24, 2T, and 3T-4T sizes with instructions also given for adjusting to any size you need.
To complete this project, you will have to obtain certain measurements after the bodice is made to finish the straps and dress sections. However, I have included approximate measurements as a guideline but if you plan on selling these items in your shops, it would be best to get more exact measurements from the buyer.
This pattern is MY original design. Feel free to sell items made from this pattern, but please give credit to my Etsy shop as the designer. www.lbeen.etsy.com
