Chianti
A friend of mine asked me to design a shawl pattern. Well I had designed plenty of other things but not a shawl, so with some amount of “what on earth am I doing?” I started thinking about what to design. There were classic rectangular and triangular shawl patterns everywhere, and they were beautiful, but not many half-round patterns to be found. So I went with that. This was a joy to make and surprisingly simple in its design. I hope you enjoy knitting it!
A note on the yarn - one skein of the Lotus Yarns Chakra left just enough yarn at the end to make up for variations in gauge and so forth. Some have found it takes closer to 500 yards in other yarns.
