Chianti Hillside Scarf
by Carol Servé
Delicate cashmere scarf inspired by the hillsides in Chianti as seen from the Chianti Cashmere Goat Farm in Radda in Chianti, Italy owned and operated by Nora Kravis. Nora runs a fabulous farm with hundreds of beautiful cashmere goats. She hosts tours where you can work on the farm just for the experience. You can also make arrangements to stay on the farm overnight. This is an ideallic sustainable environment and a real treat to visit.
The pattern looks complicated but is a simple knit and purl using only two other stitches, knitting two together and an accompanying yarn-over.
Uses one skein (50g) of cashmere on size 2 needles. It can be knit is any delicate fiber using the needles recommended for that fiber.
