“Chibi” means small in Japanese but this little Chibi Kokeshi doll is not short on being cute. Kokeshi dolls are traditionally made out of wood with simple lines which makes them ideal for making into amigurumi.
The finished doll measures 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches wide not including tail.
You’ll need:
Worsted Weight yarn in colors of your choice
Polyester fiberfill stuffing
Pair of black safety eyes, size 9 (optional)
Beads for hair ornament
Yarn needle
Crochet hook size “G”

For crochet: chain, single crochet, decrease, and how to make a magic ring. For embroidery: you need to know chain stitch and lazy daisy stitch.
