Chibi Leafeon Amigurumi
This is a pattern for a cute and easy pokemon-- Leafeon.
He’s part of my expanding collection of chibi pokémon designs, and a member of the group of adorable Eeveelutions that I’m working on as well.
Using the recommended yarn and hook he will be about 3 1/2 to 4 inches tall at the head, and closer to 5 inches at the ear-tips. He’s consistent in size with my other pokemon amigurumi.
You’ll need a relatively small amount (not more than 40g) of Light Yellow yarn, a smaller amount of Green yarn, very small amounts of Brown and (optional) Light Green yarn, scraps of black yarn or embroidery thread, a 4mm crochet hook, some stuffing, plastic eyes (10mm is good), dark brown felt, and a yarn needle.
Leafeon is a pretty easy one, as eeveelutions go, though he does have a lot of little leaves to sew on to various body parts, so that can make for some time-consuming sewing (though you may opt to forego the arm and leg leaves and it may go unnoticed). There are also quite a few color changes on the tail and ears. If you don’t have a light green for the color transitions, I think it works just as well to go directly from green to light yellow, so that may save you some steps.
I hope you enjoy!
