Chibi Wooper Amigurumi
This is a pattern for a cute, quick, and easy pokemon-- Wooper.
He’s part of my expanding collection of chibi pokemon designs.
Using the recommended yarn and hook he will be about 3 1/2 to 4 inches tall, and consistent in size with my other pokemon amigurumi.
You’ll need a relatively small amount (not more than 40g) of a blue yarn, some scraps of blue and light purple felt, a 4mm crochet hook, some stuffing, plastic eyes (10mm is good), and a yarn needle.
Wooper is a very easy shape to make, but the trick is getting the details right. For the cheek spikes I’ve found that a good stiff felt looks good, but it doesn’t stand up to a lot of wear and tear. Braided and sewn yarn can work for them and the belly scales, if done carefully. You might also try sewing on his big smile as well!
Have fun!
