Katie Holmes was shown in People and InStyle Magazines wearing a chic white cotton crochet handbag around NYC. My friend texted me the photos and asked if I could make something like it. Challenge accepted! I think I nailed, it don’t you?

This bag is so cute and practical, I can understand why Ms. Holmes wears it everywhere. I made mine in white and ivory, but I’m sure it would look great in any color. And now you can make one for yourself with this crochet pattern!

The finished tote measures 12” x 8”, with 36” straps. The perfect size to use as a purse, market bag, or small project bag.

You will need:

9 oz of cotton worsted weight yarn
Size H and N crochet hooks
