The Dicky is back! Perfect under a tailored coat,
without extra bulk of a full cabled sweater. Gives
you an extra layer across the front and back.
Dicky is made in 2 pieces & seamed at shoulder,
collar is crochet in the round.
This is a one size pattern.
Special stitches
Front post Double Crochet (fpdc): Yo, insert
hook from the front around post of stitch
indicated, you & pull up a loop, (yo & draw
through 2 loops on hook) twice.
Cable Right (Cable R): Skip each of the next 2
post sts, fpdc around each on the next 2 post sts,
working in front of the post sts just made, fpdc
around each skipped post st.
Cable Left (Cable L): Skip each of the next 2
posts sts, fpdc around each of the next 2 post
sts, working behind the post sts just make, fpdc
around skipped post stitches.
Gauge is with a H crochet hook or size to obtain gauge.
Sample is crocheted with HiKoo Sueno, a Double Knit weight yarn.
Yardage is 3 skeins of Sueno or approximately 650 yards of a Dk weight yarn.
