Dickys are back! They look great under a tailored coat, keeping your front and back warm without the bulk of a cabled sweater. The
Chicago Winter Blues Dicky is worked with a double strand of DK or 1 strand of Aran weight wool that inserts cables into the focal area of your coat while your arms stay free of bulk.

Gauge: 16 sts on a US #9 needle in stockinet, or 22 sts over 4” in the twisted stitches.

Yardage: 382 yds for Aran weight (Blue sample in knit in Plymouth
Yarn’s Homestead in color #23)
764 yds for DK weight held double ( Brown sample is knit
with 2 strands of Jody Long’s Alba, color # 17)
