Perfect for re-usable Easter Egg hunts!

This pattern is 462 stitches for the main body of the egg. This pattern is perfect for beginners or will work up quickly for more advanced users. Finished egg is approximately 8cm/3 inches tall by 5cm/2 inches wide.

The pattern is written in U.S. terms. Stitches included: chain, magic ring, single crochet, single crochet increase, single crochet decrease. This pattern includes additional tips for beginners.

Tools needed:
Any yarn can be used. In the photos I used Bernat® baby sport yarn, light weight 3, baby yellow
Any crochet hook can be used. In the photos I used size D/3 3.00mm
Scissors
Needle
Fiberfill for stuffing
Velcro
Embroidery floss (optional)
8-10mm safety eyes (optional)
Note that if a toy is being created for a child under the age of 3 years, please do not use safety eyes or noses.
