The finished size is about 5-6 inches (including leaves, but not the stem) using worsted weight yarn (sample photos in acrylic) and a size 4.5mm hook.
A perfect stash-busting project!

Note: This pattern requires basic crochet stitches only (single crochet, double crochet, sc2tog) but some joining techniques make it intermediate. Video tutorial is linked in the pattern.

Disclaimer - I know this chick costume has four leaves so technically isn’t a shamrock…but Chick in a four leaf clover costume just sounded so complicated ;) To make a true Shamrock costume - just ditch the 4th leaf and your chick will still be adorable! (and more traditional!)
