This cute Chick Can Storage pattern is perfect for upcycling old cans. The Chicks are not just for Easter, as they can be used all year round storing pens, sweets, money, crochet hooks. This is a PDF PATTERN ONLY and NOT the finished item.

Materials Needed for each Item
* Acrylic DK yarn used throughout *
Cracked Egg Can Cover, Wings, Eyes:
Yellow yarn (Cover and Wings) - approx. 12g.
White yarn (Cover and Eyes) - approx. 18g.
Empty cylindrical Tin Can or Jar. Size used in pattern 8.5cm dia x 8.5cm high). Pattern can be adjusted to fit most sizes.
NB : for single colour Can ( Cover and Wings) - yellow yarn (approx 25g).

Beak, Legs, Bowtie / Bow, Eyebrows:
Orange (Beak, Legs / Feet) - yarn scraps.
Colour of choice (Bowtie / Bow) - yarn scraps.
Black (Eyebrows) - yarn scraps.
Stuffing (Eyes) - tiny amount needed for each Eye.

Other Items and Equipment:
3mm Crochet Hook.
2 x 5mm Safety Eyes.
2 x Short lengths of Pipe Cleaners.
Scissors.
Darning Needle.
Stitch Marker.
