Chickadee Ridge
Chickadee Bloom is a revamp of my Knitty pattern, Cardiflower. This version is bulky weight instead of worsted, pullover instead of cardigan, and has a split hem with the back being a bit longer than the front. At three and a half stitches per inch, this sweater will fly off your needles! It’s a great sweater project for the more impatient knitter.
Increases in the yoke are worked directly into the patterning for an uninterrupted look. Twisted rib adorns the cuff, hem, and collar. When there are too many stitches to fit on the 16” circular needle, switch to the next longer needle as needed.
This pattern is part of the Knit Picks Independent Designer Program.
