Knit a chicken and a life-size egg to pop it into!

Finished chick is the size of an actual large hen’s egg

You will need:

• Oddments of DK/light worsted/8ply - 10m/11yd yellow and 15m/16.5m white. Wool or wool/acrylic mixes work best.
• Very small amounts of black and orange yarn or embroidery floss (or use small buttons or beads)
• A couple of small handfuls of polyester toy filling
• A needle to sew your work together and a large-eyed embroidery needle

Skills needed: basic knitting skills plus how to increase and decrease and some basic embroidery skills.
