This is the first animal bag pattern I designed. It started out with me looking for a clip art chicken. When I found one, it looked like a purse to me. Of course, I have felted purses on the brain!
You’ll have fun making this bag and even more fun carrying it around. It is an attention grabber! It is simply made with single crochet, increases and decreases plus a few treble crochets. After all the pieces are crocheted. they are thrown in the washer to felt. When they are dry, the fun begins as your chicken takes shape. I’ve made my bags in black and white, but you can go wild and make them any color you like. The pattern is also available from my linked Etsy site.
