This is a fun quick easy project for crochet beginners who want to try out amigurumi. Who doesn’t love chickens? Especially cute fat chickens! It’s such a small project that it’s a good place to learn knew stitches without being overwhelmed. I finished in under two hours.

Materials:
•3.25 crochet hook
•White DK weight yarn (colour A) •Scraps of red and orange yarn in DK or worsted weight.
•2 4-5mm black safety eyes.
•A tapestry needle
•Scissors
•Some scrap yarn, fabric or stuffing in a light colour. (If you use a mix with dark colours it might show through the white yarn of the body.)
