Chicken Little Socks
Find the kit at BlackSheep at Orenco!
This pattern was inspired by the colorway we chose. Every time I looked at the color I thought of chickens. Specifically, I thought of Barred Plymouth Rock chickens. You should look up the breed and see if you are reminded of this color too!
In any case, I decided that the only way to make these socks was as “chicken little” socks with eggs and lace ribs that reminded me of chicken scratchings.
This pattern is meant for an adventurous novice to intermediate knitter. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.
